I am one of the co-founders of Mídia NINJA , one of the biggest independent media of Brazil, that reaches today over 5 million followers and Out Of Axys (Fora do Eixo – a cultural and communication network, founded in 2006, that mobilizes 500 towns in 23 different countries – in which I coordinate the political mobilizations and networks of these movements.

As a Journalist and activist in the struggles of Communication, Culture and Human Rights, in 2014 I worked as a consultant to UNDP (United Nations Development Program) at the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic and between 2015 and 2016, I was an advisor to the Ministry of Culture of Brazil Juca Ferreira. In 2018, I coordinated the agenda of the Sonia Guajajara’s presidential electoral campaign, when Sonia became the very first indigenous woman to run for a presidential ticket in Brazil.

I also participated in missions in countries like Indonesia, where I assisted the Congress of Aliansi Masyarakat Adat Nusantara or AMAN with the Global Alliance #GuardiansOfTheFores, which in 2017 elected Rukka Sombolinggi as the first woman to be Secretary General of AMAN. In addition, I had lectured on my experience of activism in several countries, including Mexico, Argentina, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, and of course dozens of cities in Brazil.

At the head of Media NINJA, nowadays I coordinate the environmental and indigenous publishing editorials. I am part of the sustainability team and one of the founders of the gender front. Today I am one of the main figures of political mobilization in the network.

I have been been really close to important leaders of the Indigenous Movement working as a consultant and also coordinating special reports and coverage missions of big mobilization actions, such as the First Indigenous Women March and the Free Land Camps. In the present year I accompanied Sonia Guajajara in the New York Climate Change Summit 2019.

Finally, I form part of the coordination team of the Journey: Indigenous Blood: Not a Single Drop More, that will go to 12 countries around Europe during the October 17th to November 20th with a committee of brazilian indigenous leaders from all over Brazil.
